Former golden boy Hal played football in college, but his days of greatness ended with an injury. After years of drifting through dead end jobs, he's deep in his 30s and has little to show for it except a secret. For years, a Neon Cowboy and other visions have appeared to him, and he follows these hallucinations as though they were divine omens.
